[ Courtesy: David Goldin - 07-08-2024 ] Before the program, Patrick Curran (of the Islip Public Schools), replies to a WOR editorial (he opposes an editorial urges citizens to vote)! It's "Culture Night." Shep talks about Raymond Chandler and other writers. Pulp fiction genres: railroad and flying stories. Shepherd has a mint copy of a 1932 issue of "Flying Aces."
