Postcard to Lois Nettleton from Zurich

February 27, 1957

Shep sent a postcard to Lois Nettleton who was the "Listener" on his WOR show circa 1957 and ultimately became his wife in 1960. The post card reads "Zurich Feb 27, 1957 Darling: This is damn near the first dog I've seen in all of Europe. This city (Zurich) is really the lovliest {sp} of them all - spotless, sunny, and not too expensive. The whole town has an air about it rather like the East 10's - dough! They have it here. I'm getting along ok, but haven't had anyone to {talk} to for over two weeks! Love Love Love J."
