	Shep's Favorite Engineer Herb Squire Passes Away April 7, 2025
Herb was an engineer at WOR from 1966 and became a 'regular' engineering Sheps show each night. He and his wife Laurie (a producer on the show) teamed up with Shep to form International Jawbreakers, a syndication company to put Shep's work out to the various markets. (The days before radio networks evolved to what they are now.) In 2000 as a tribute to Shep, he and Barry Farber joined Max Schmid at the Friends of Old Time Radio convention in Newark NJ. He was very active in the Broadcast industy all his life.

	News Clippings Read By Shep on the Air New page added for some interesting news!
Shep would often read little news articles which were a cut above the norm and would offer a saute to them either as "H.G. Grubbage" or just to some silly music. But they were actual news clippings he read from and following is a collection of ones I have been able to find. (Still a work in progress!)
