	Carousel of Progress Gets New Voice Shep's voice is retired
In 2027, the Carousel will be updated again. The animatronics will receive significant mechanical upgrades using Disney's latest robotics technology and a completely reimagined finale scene. Also new will be the voices. Bryan Cranston will now provide the voice of John, the father, replacing Shep who served the role since the 90's. Jamie Lee Curtis will provide the voice of Sarah, the mother.

	Another Shep Fan Lost Gary 'silentshep' Hines ("Gary in California")
Shep fan Gary Hines who was an avid collector of Shep's shows, putting many of them on his youtube channel 'silentshep', passed away July 6, 2025. Over the years he accumulated a large collection of Shepherd's early (1961-1964) radio shows.
