Pete Delaney
Contributions by Shep's Fans

Pete Delaney was not just another Shep Fan. He was a major recordee of hundreds of Shep Shows which he has shared with the community, and written several Shep related pieces over the years for Movie Collector's World and other publications. He was referred to as 'Ranger Pete' because of his work ant the National Park Service as a Ranger and tour guide. He passed away on May 2, 2023. Shep acknowledges Pete During the "2nd Annual Parade of Humanity" show on March 20, 1969 Shep spent the whole show reading the names of Fans who wrote in. Here's Pete's claim to fame.
Mike Todd Party

On October 17, 1957, Mike Todd, married to Elizabeth Taylor at the time, held a party at Madison Square Garden to Celebrate the first anniversary of "Around the World in Eighty Days" which he produced.

Occasionally Shep commented about this party, which he attended, on his shows.

Pete Delaney wrote this article for the April 8, 1994 edition of Movie Collector's World.
