The "Obies," on stage and in the audience. ANNE BANCROFT of "Two for the Seesaw" (top photo, right) laughs with pleasure at a winner's bon mot, while JEAN SHEPHERD grins across the table. Left of Miss Bancroft is LOIS NETTLETON, a winner herself of one of this year's Derwent Awards for her performance in "God and Kate Murphy." Left of Miss Nettleton, Mr. FRANK FANCHER, president of the Orange County Telephone Company and father of Voice publisher Edwin Fancher. At farthest left, Villager CYNTHIA FANCHER, sister of Edwin. Bottom photo shows the moment when KIM STANLEY, giving the awards away, learned that her husband Alfred Ryder had won the top honors for an actor. Other girl in the clinch is her friend NAN MARTIN of "J.B.," a stand-in at the ceremonies for Mr. Ryder. All "Obie" pictures by Gin Briggs.
