First, a word about this method
of collecting and storing audio - MP3 is a computer file compression
method that greatly reduces the size of .wav (audio) files. This
allows many more programs to be stored on a CDR disc or portable
playback device. The compression rate is variable - the lower the
compression, the larger the file. |
|
Note: The program files on these discs cannot be played in a regular CD player. They can be played on the computer with nearly any audio program, such as Windows Media Player, WinAmp, or RealPlayer, as well as many newer home DVD players, or you can load them into portable MP3 devices. Special Note: Each disc counts as one selection! |

Mediocre (Standard) Quality
- 22/32 Mono |
| VIC & SADE
- all existing shows on 2 discs, at least it seems to be! The
quality is overall the best I've heard on many of these shows.
This set includes more than 80 recently discovered programs, and
all the old ones. Highly recommended! This despite the fact
that some idiot decided to encode most of them at 11/32 Stereo.
Counts as two selections. DISC ONE 1937-42 - 172 Shows, 36 ½ hours DISC TWO 1942-46 - 164 shows, 38+ hours, including the 1945 revival series and ½-hour Summer shows. |
| BOB & RAY - 4
DISCS - The contents of these are all different, although there
may be a lot of overlap over the course of the discs. However,
