What does a book about iPods have to do with Shep?

Author and fellow Shep fan Kirk McElhearn was writing a book on iPods and asked fellow author and Shep fan Eugene Bergmann ("Excelsior You Fathead - The Art and Enigma of Jean Shepherd") to write a "blog" showing the extent of audio material that you can put on an iPod. You can put more than just songs on it!
